Hear everything, only quieter.

The problem with virtually all ear plugs is the way they distort and muffle sound. This not only makes it difficult to have a conversation, but makes built-in helmet speakers sound like crap. By miniaturizing the acoustic filters found in $180+ professional musicians ear plugs, we have been able to make an affordable filtered plug that can be comfortably worn under a helmet all day long. With 20dB noise reduction, the Filtered S Plug works great as every day hearing protection on and off the bike, and lets helmet speakers sound their best. Proudly made in the USA.

Please note that Filtered S Plugs are on back order. We apologize for any inconvenience. You are still welcome to order, orders will be filled as inventory comes in. Thank you.

    What are you looking for?

Posted by Arthur Short on 13th Feb 2018

I have been riding and racing motorcycles for 55 years. Both on and off road. I am a retired heavy construction and refinery worker. I have literally used every known noise suppression device known to man. The Filtered S Plug is unequivocally the best, It is the lightest, softest, most unobtrusive device I have ever used. When it is in my ear and I am are off the bike I found myself checking to insure that they were still there. Well worth the price to find a plug this comfortable. One that works so well with my SENA and GPS and doesn't need to be removed every time I get off my bike. Put them in before your ride and remove them after your ride. No matter how long the ride.

    Comfortable and Effective

Get into the habit. It took me a while but now I have noticed a big difference in my riding comfort. Once these earplugs are in I forget they are there.

    Better than NoNoise

Posted by Don on 22nd Apr 2016

I just purchased these ear plugs a week ago. Previously I used NoNoise motorsports ear plugs. They were a better option than solid ear plugs because I could not effectively hear my in helmet speakers with standard foam or silicone ear plugs. The NoNoise plugs helped a lot. Three issues with them though. One the material they are made from does not last long, destroyed after about a year of use. The plugs would get lost in my ear, very difficult to remove and causing subsequent damage doing so. Third, they didn't cut out enough wind noise. This last problem was not realized until after using the Lee Parks S Plugs. Upon the very first use of the Lee Parks S Plugs the wind noise was notably less than my previous plugs. In addition the regular, non road noise, sounds were much clearer. The S Plugs are easier to remove and I'm assuming are made of silicone which in my experience lasts longer than plastic and doesn't have a memory like plastic. So Far, so good...

Can't use them, but liked them when I did

Posted by Unknown on 3rd Nov 2014

Apparently my ear canals are too freakishly small. I have tried to use them, but can't get them to go in properly nor stay in place for very long. But that is a typical problem I have had with earplugs. I have friends who use these and they love them and swear that those are the best earplugs they ever had. For the short time I could get them to stay in place under my helmet, I liked the way my bluetooth speakers sounded (better than without earplugs and better than with any others I tried out). I will try to play around with them and see if I can't get them to stay in place.. I really really want them to work for me since I have heard nothing but great things about them from friends, and I do not like my custom molded earplugs (long story, irrelevant to this review).
I would have given them 5 stars if they would have fit .. it would be nice if there were other sizes that could fit my freakishly tiny little ear canals. (I do have the same problem with gloves, tiny ear canals and short fingers go together apparently..)
